April was a highly productive month for the Buildington team, as we visited over 60 development sites across London and witnessed good progress despite the industry's challenges.

The current economic landscape, marked by inflation and higher interest rates, has led to delays and pauses in several projects. Developers must innovate relentlessly to advance their projects, much like a magician expertly pulling rabbits out of a hat. In response, leading developers such as Berkeley, Taylor Wimpey, and Barratt London have introduced new initiatives like the 'Own New: Rate Reducer'.

This May, we're particularly excited about two major launches. Barratt London has just unveiled Royal Gateway today in North Acton, featuring 350 new homes with prices starting at £475,000. This development has amazing transport connections with Elizabeth Line just 5 minute's walk away and the future HS2 station a short walk away. It is not far from the recently completed Western Circus (2022) in East Acton, which comprises 365 apartments.

Fairview New Homes is launching their first project of the year, Park Quarter in New Barnet EN4. The development will offer 44 apartments for private sale, with a guide price starting at £390,000.
